The 2nd Mrs Maisie Sookias Memorial Inter School English Debate was held in Heritage School on 9th November 2023.

The topic for the debate was 'If you want peace prepare for war'. Ishita Bist of class XI B and Riddhi Gurung of class XII B spoke for and against the motion respectively. The session was a kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts and perspective that enhanced the knowledge and understanding about how we can bring peace in the world. Students from 14 schools of Dehradun participated in the event. 

The competition was interesting with the exchange of students perspective by equally stating the merits and demerits of arms build up by powerful nations. Both Ishita and Riddhi put up an excellent performance and were commended by the judge as well as the audience.
