SPELL BEE (KINDERGARTEN)

An intra – class Spell Bee activity was organized for the students of classes LKG and UKG in their respective classrooms on 1^st August 2025 .It aimed at giving a platform to learn phonics and consequentlyenrich their vocabulary. LKG with picture recognition and UKG with three letter words. To conduct this activity flash cards were made for LKG and a word bank was created for UKG. Each student was given a chance to recognise and spell the given pictures. The students who recognised and spelled the words correctly in the first round qualified for the next round where the competition was tough and we got our three winners. The objective of the competition was to enhance their vocabulary by encouraging them to explore English language and improve their communication skills.
