Raja Rammohan Roy Academy Celebrates Excellence

Felicitation Ceremony honours outstanding performers in ICSE and ISC 2023 Examinations

To felicitate and honour the students who notched exceptional results in Class X and XII board Examinations 2022-23, an achiever’s felicitation ceremony was organised at Raja Rammohan Roy Academy on August 19, 2023. The ceremony was conducted to celebrate the young achievers who not only displayed exceptional academic prowess but also demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to their studies. The ceremony took place in the school premises, bringing together students, parents, educators, and esteemed guests to celebrate the pursuit of excellence.

The event was presided by Ms. Indrani Lahiri, a luminary in the field of education who has spent years shaping the educational landscape, inspiring both educators and students alike. Ms. Lahiri has been associated with the school as a vital member of the school’s management committee and her wealth of knowledge and experience has significantly contributed to the strategic direction of our institution.

The ceremony commenced with Ms. Bharti Vishnoi, Officiating Principal, welcoming the chief guest on behalf of the entire RRRA family. The highlight of the event was the felicitation of meritorious students who secured top positions in the board examinations. In ICSE 2021-22, Tanu Pundir with an aggregate of 99% scored the highest in the school followed by Divyanshi Khandelwal with an aggregate of 98.20%. Om Thapa and Mayank Bijalwan scored the highest in ISC 2021-22 (Science) with both securing an aggregate of 96.25%. Arkin Dixit was successful in acquiring the first position in ISC 2021-22(Commerce) with an impressive score of 92.75% and Ipshita Pokhriyal topped the Humanities stream with a remarkable score of 94.50%. The position holders along with achievers, who scored an aggregate of 90% and above were awarded certificates and trophies by the Chief Guest.

Moving forward, Ms. Lahiri addressed the gathering congratulating the achievers and parents for the successful results. She motivated the students to explore their superpower and  encouraged the parents to support their wards in their fields of interest. Following this, a memento was presented to Ms. Lahiri by Ms. Vishnoi. Ms. Vishnoi also congratulated all the achievers for their exemplary performance in ICSE and ISC 2022-23, and thanked the parents and teachers for being ‘partners in progress’. She emphasized on the role of parents in the successful performance of children and encouraged them to provide the assistance to the students and school for them to flourish and attain the desired results.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Shailja, Head Girl, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Lahiri and everyone involved in organizing the event and making it a remarkable success. The Felicitation Ceremony at RRRA was a resounding success, showcasing the school’s devotion in nurturing well-rounded individuals and celebrating their accomplishments. The school believes that these students are the pride of the institution, the torchbearers of a brighter future and encourages them to carry forward the spirit of the school motto ‘We Learn To Serve’ with utmost dedication and commitment.
