Mother’s Day is a day set aside to express love, respect and thanks to mothers. Children who engage in Mother’s Day activities may feel a sense of achievement and take pride in their efforts. This can be an important chance for children to nurture emotional intelligence which are basic skills for healthy relationship. We in our classes celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm by doing craft activities. Each class did a different craft activity and expressed their gratitude towards moms. The significance of Mother’s Day was explained to the tiny tots. All the moms were called in the school premises and they were presented craft items made by their own children.
