Dehradun, August 30, 2025: A workshop on Nutrition and Health was conducted at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy by Dr. Neetu Rastogi, with a special emphasis on the well-being of women, particularly working professionals.
Dr. Rastogi highlighted how balanced nutrition is essential for staying energized, maintaining hormonal balance, and preventing deficiencies. She stressed the importance of eating three wholesome meals daily, including protein, fresh vegetables, fruits, and good fats, while also focusing on hydration, gut health, and mindful eating.
Participants received practical guidance on essential nutrients like calcium, iron, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, and magnesium, along with easy-to-follow lifestyle tips such as soaking nuts overnight, cooking in iron utensils, and using traditional herbs in meals.
The workshop concluded with an empowering affirmation: “I nourish myself so I can nurture others.” The session was highly appreciated by the attendees for its relevance, simplicity, and actionable takeaways, encouraging women to prioritize their health alongside professional responsibilities.
