Students from nineteen leading schools of Dehradun participated in this debate, presenting their views for and against the motion with great confidence and clarity. Each participant impressed the audience with their strong arguments, logical reasoning, and effective communication skills.

The distinguished panel of judges for the event included Shri Om Prakash Gairola, Shrikant Sharma ‘Shri’, and Shriman Vijay Singh Rawat, whose valuable insights and fair judgment added immense value to the competition.

Our School Raja Rammohan Roy Academy was represented by Parnika Kundwal (Class 10–A) and Aastha (Class 10–D).

In a closely contested competition, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy emerged victorious, winning both the Running Trophy and the Best Speaker Award. Parnika Kundwal was declared the Best Speaker.

This debate provided students with a valuable platform to develop critical thinking and public speaking abilities while engaging with a relevant contemporary issue. The event concluded with appreciation for all participants, judges, and teachers for making the programme a grand success.
