Date 15 Jul 2025

In order to create awareness regarding increasing the forest cover and respecting the cultural values of the state, the Harela Festival was celebrated at Raja Rammohan Roy Academy. The morning assembly was conducted on the same, with speeches on the importance of Harela and environmental conservation by Aditya Raj and Krishty Bhagal, followed by a powerful performance by students who presented "Nukkad Natak" on the topic “Plantation Drive.” This highlights the respect and value the school places on a variety of traditions and cultures followed in India. This act of planting saplings in the herbal garden of the school reflects that our school, most importantly, asserts the integrity and secular character of our country.

Saplings of different varieties (Guava, Gulmohar, Neem, Jackfruit, Lemon, etc.) were planted by the students on 15th July 2025 under the supervision and guidance of the teachers and the Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishoi. The students expressed their love for nature. The main objective of the program was to strengthen the bond between humans and nature and to create a clean and green environment.
