INTER SCHOOL  ELOCUTION COMPETITION

An Inter-School English Elocution Competition was held on 2nd August 2025 at Seven Oaks School, attracting enthusiastic participation from around 15 reputed schools across the city. Participating schools included St. Joseph’s Academy, Brightlands, St. Jude’s, Seven Oaks School, Poly Kids, Doon Valley Public School, Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Sunrise Academy, Galaxy International School, Doon International School, Cambrian Hall, and Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, among others.

 The competition featured both solo and group recitation categories for students up to Class V. The event was judged by Ms. Manju Sharma from St. Joseph’s Academy and Ms. Anjana Mukherjee from Colonel Brown School. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. S.C. Biala, former Principal of Cambrian Hall School, who praised the participants for their confidence, clarity, and expressive performances.

 Among the winners, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy performed exceptionally well, securing first position in the group recitation category and third position in the solo recitation category.

 Overall, the event was a great success, promoting literary enthusiasm and encouraging young talents to express themselves creatively through poetry.
