BAG-LESS DAY JULY 2025 (PRIMARY)

Date 26 Jul 2025

BAGLESS DAY

The third Bagless Day was organized on 26th July 2025 at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy, featuring three major events: the Inter-House Chess Tournament, the Final Round of the English Spell Bee Competition, and a movie screening for Class III students. The day aimed to provide a stimulating, bag-free learning experience filled with fun and engagement.

The Inter-House Chess Tournament for Classes IV and V (boys and girls) was held in the primary wing quadrangle. Students from all four houses—Aravali, Satpura, Shivalik, and Vindhya—participated in time-controlled knockout rounds. The matches were closely contested, with Vindhya and Aravali sharing first place, followed by Satpura and Shivalik. The event highlighted students’ strategic thinking and sportsmanship. Matches were supervised by senior students and teachers.

Simultaneously, the final round of the English Spell Bee Competition took place in the school library for Classes III to V. It featured visual identification, silent letter challenges, a homophones segment, and a rapid-fire round that tested both accuracy and speed. Students displayed remarkable vocabulary and spelling skills. Winners included Koyesha Thakur and Mohd Fawaz (Class III), Vivan Gulwani and Mohd Amaan Alam (Class IV), and Shivanya Aggarwal and Parth Chauhan (Class V).

While the students of Classes IV and V were engaged in the Spell Bee competition, Class III students, escorted by their class teachers, enjoyed a screening of the animated movie Jungle Beat: The Monster on the projector. The film brought laughter and excitement, making the day even more enjoyable for them.

Together, these events fostered intellectual growth, creativity, teamwork, and joyful participation, making Bagless Day a truly memorable and enriching experience for all students.
