Date 30 Jun 2026

Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy organised a Well-being Workshop on 30th June, 2026 conducted by the Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi, titled “The Art of Well-Being: Relax • Reflect • Rejuvenate”. The session focused on promoting the mental, emotional and professional well-being of educators.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi emphasised that teachers play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and, therefore, must prioritise their own well-being. She highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and cultivating resilience to meet the demands of the teaching profession.
The workshop explored various aspects of stress management, including understanding burnout, recognising early signs of emotional fatigue and adopting healthy coping strategies. Teachers were introduced to practical techniques such as mindfulness, the STOPP Technique, cognitive reframing and breathing exercises that can be incorporated into their daily routine. The session also discussed the seven dimensions of rest and encouraged participants to reflect on their personal and professional well-being.
Interactive activities prompted teachers to identify their core values, design a personal well-being mission and explore simple classroom practices that foster a calm and positive learning environment. The workshop further underscored the importance of peer support, collaboration and creating a culture where self-care is recognised as an essential aspect of professional excellence.
The session concluded with a renewed commitment from the staff to embrace healthy practices that enhance both personal well-being and classroom effectiveness. The workshop proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience, reaffirming the school’s commitment to the holistic development of its educators.
