VEGETABLE DAY

The Pre-Primary Wing of our school celebrated Vegetable Day with great enthusiasm and learning on December 12, 2025.

To make the day meaningful and experiential for the children, a vegetable vendor was invited to the school. The display of fresh vegetables and the lovely atmosphere of a marketplace created an engaging and realistic experience for the students.

To add more fun and learning, the teachers performed an enactment of various vegetables. Each teacher carried props to represent a specific vegetable, such as a tomato, potato, carrot, brinjal, capsicum, and more. Through expressive dialogue, movements, and short role-plays, they conveyed the nutritional benefits of each vegetable entertainingly. The children thoroughly enjoyed the creative presentation.

The day concluded with children singing rhymes about vegetables and participating in simple activities related to healthy eating. The celebration successfully promoted awareness about the importance of including vegetables in daily meals and encouraged children to make healthy food choices.

Overall, Vegetable Day was a vibrant, interactive, and educational experience, blending fun with valuable learning for our young students.
