Inter House Football Tournament 2022-23

Participation in sport has been shown to have multiple physical, social and psychological benefits for learners of all ages. Football in particular can improve physical and mental health, well-being and reduce the chance of various diseases. Keeping this in mind, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy organised an Inter-House Football Tournament for the students of classes VI-XII from 19^th January, 2023 to 21^st January, 2023 in the school premises. The participants under the able guidance of Ms Poonam Yadav, Mr Ajay Kumar and Mr Sagar Mandarwal, participated enthusiastically and exhibited excellent sportsmanship.

In the Junior Boys category, Shivalik House bagged the first position and Vindhya House was declared the first runner up. In the Girls category, Shivalik House and Vindhya House were tied for the first position, followed by Satpura House which was announced the first runner up. In the Senior Boys category, Shivalik House was successful in bagging the first position and Vindhya House was declared the first runners up.

Shivalik House was victorious in the overall category and bagged the house trophy while Vindhya House was declared the first runner up and Satpura House was declared the second runner up. The participants from all the four houses took part with gusto and displayed endurance, determination, team spirit and tactical knowledge which was eloquently visible throughout the tournament. The Tournament was a grand success as it showcased a healthy competition and a spirited fight amongst the participants.
