MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD REPORT-PRIMARY SECTION

“There is simply no substitute for hard work, when it comes to achieving success”

Keeping this in mind the Primary Section of Raja Rammohan Roy Academy conducts Olympiads every year with an aim to provide a platform for brushing the learning abilities of its students over and above the curricular programs.

This year also the Mathematics Olympiad was conducted on 3rd August 2023 to develop reasoning, analytical and problemsolving skills among the students. All the students from classes I to V participated enthusiastically and scored well. The top five scorers from each section were chosen and overall the First, Second, third and two Consolation Positions were selected from Classes I to V. The overall incharges for the Event were Ms. Shipra Arora and Ms. Suchismita Paul.Such activities boost the enthusiasm, moral and confidence of the children and act as a rejuvenation for them. Children were found enjoying and learning various skills by attempting the Olympiad. The students gave their best and some of them really did very well by attempting the Paper successfully.
