An educational trip to Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, Dilaram Chowk, Dehradun was organised for the students of Class IX A & C on 29th Sep. 2023 by Mrs Jyoti Virmani (Department of Chemistry).

Students observed the working of water works department which was constructed in 1937. They learnt about various steps involved in the 'Purification of Water like-

Coagulation,flocculation,sedimentation,decantation,filtration and disinfection before it is supplied to the overhead tanks of various areas in the city . Children had a great opportunity to learn how the water works department functions. They were inquisitive and interested throughout the trip. They followed the instructions given very carefully and asked their queries. It was a practical learning experience which was thoroughly enjoyed by our students .
