*Inter-House Geography Map Quiz  2023*

“IF GEOGRAPHY IS PROSE, MAPS ARE ICONOGRAPHY”

On 15th December 2023 , Geography Department of Ram Mohan Roy Academy, Dehra Dun organized an Inter-House  Geography Quiz Competition for classes IX - X. It was a stimulating and competitive event that showcased the students' knowledge and passion for geography. The purpose of the quiz was to promote a deeper understanding of geographical concepts, encourage teamwork, and foster a spirit of healthy competition among the houses.

Four students from each house (two students each  from classes IX and X ) participated in the quiz, which was conducted  in the  Multipurpose Hall (MPH) of school.  The quiz was skillfully conducted by Ms.Preeti Singh and Ms. Ratna Sharma, who served as the quizmaster and ensured the smooth flow of the quiz. The quiz comprised three rounds: House Round, Visual Round and Rapid Fire round. 

The first position was bagged by Shivalik House (Team C) and Satpura  House ( Team B). The second position was bagged by Vindhya House(Team D) and Aravali  House (Team A) bagged the third position. 

Such initiatives contribute significantly to the holistic development of students and foster a positive academic environment within the school.
