The Wild Wisdom Global Challenge – City Level Quiz Competition was successfully conducted on 31st October 2025 at Wehlam Girls’ School. The event brought together bright young minds from various schools across different cities to test their knowledge and curiosity in the field of Entomology, the scientific study of insects.

Our school, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy was represented by Amra Ansari and Maitrayee Lingwal.

The competition aimed to promote scientific thinking, awareness of biodiversity, and appreciation for the ecological importance of insects. It served as an engaging platform for students to showcase their understanding of insect biology, behaviour, anatomy, and their roles in the environment.

The event commenced with a brief inaugural ceremony, where the participants were made aware of the importance of studying insects in maintaining ecological balance. The quiz was conducted in multiple rounds, including written round, visual round, rapid fire round and buzzer round.

After an intense and closely contested competition, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mohkampur emerged as the City-Level Champion. Our school received the consolation prize for securing their position in the top five schools. Winners received trophies, certificates, and an opportunity to compete in the upcoming Regional Level Wild Wisdom Global Challenge

Overall, the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge – City Level Quiz on Entomology was an inspiring and educational experience that not only encouraged students to explore the fascinating world of insects but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition and scientific curiosity.
