Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure ,the founders of a loving legacy ,the greatest story tellers ,the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation . We at RRMRA celebrated grandparent’s day with great joy and pomp .It was a day to highlight and honour the importance of grandparents in shaping our life and personality .Our school conducted some cultural programmes in which children from LKG to class V participated .The show was started with welcome dance and followed by fashion show by kids , group songs ,a small skit and a dance performance . Children made greeting cards for their grandparents .We played games like needle and thread , four corners in which they participated with great zeal .The well – prepared Power Point Presentation was created with some clicks of children with their grandparents .They shared heart warming stories with us .The day ended with some refreshments .So we would like to say “Grandparents hold our hands for just a while , but our hearts forever. “Today’s celebration of grandparents day was indeed a heart touching experience for us .
