Staff vs Students  cricket Match 2024

“Cricket is such sport that you get to learn something from someone every day”

Cricket being the most popular sport, holds a very special place in the hearts of students and staff. The Physical Education Department organized a friendly match between the staff and the students of the school on 27th April. It was a cloudy day and the weather was pleasant when the staff and the students gathered in the field. The two teams were ready to play the match while others were taking their seats to witness this exciting match.  The match was flagged off by Ms. Bharti Bishnoi (the officiating Principal, she energized them with her best wishes. 

The captain of the staff team won the toss and chose to ball first. The   match began with the batting of the staff team. The opening batsman opened the account well with  Sixer in the first over, then the bowlers tried hard to dislodge the partnership and succeeded in it. But after that the batsmen played steadily to pile up the score and continued scoring fast to make 107 runs and lost 3 wickets in stipulated 12 overs. 

In response to the batting of staff team , our students came to play with full confidence and their batting was stimulative but the fielders of the staff team did not give them chance to hit fours and the batsmen of students team could not stand their onslaught,  their wickets fell fast. They could not make more than 85 and lost 5 wickets and lost the match.

No matter, who won accolades by winning the match, but the students and staff could witness such a magnanimous and scintillating game. It is not only the sportsmanship but also the bond which the students and the staff shared would always be cherished.
