INTER HOUSE DANCE COMPETITION

Learning, thought, creativity, and intelligence are not solely products of the brain but are deeply rooted in the entire body. Movement combinations not only enhance memory, order, and sequencing skills but also contribute to the development of a holistic understanding of oneself. Moreover, engaging in creative activities such as dance not only fosters self-expression but also boosts self-esteem, which is crucial for effective learning and personal growth.

On the occasion of International Dance Day, a Basant Utsav dance event was organised for students of classes III-V on April 29, 2024. Held in the Multi-Purpose Hall, the event emphasised the universal language of movement and expression. The highlight of the event was the Inter-House Dance Competition, where each house showcased its unique dance form before the commencement of the program.

The competition showcased not only the students' talent but also their dedication and teamwork. After careful evaluation, the following houses emerged as the winners:

1st Position - Shivalik House (Holi)

2nd Position - Satpura House (Gangaur)

3rd Position - Vindhya House (Baisakhi)

4th Position - Aravali House (Bihu)

Following the exhilarating performances at the Basant Utsav dance event, the Officiating Principal, Ms Bharti Vishnoi, acknowledged the event's significance in promoting cultural diversity, fostering creativity, and nurturing talent among the students. Her encouraging words further motivated the participants and affirmed the school's commitment to holistic education.

The esteemed judges for the event, Mrs. Saraswati Dobhal and Mrs. Tanuja Singh from the senior wing, congratulated the winners and commended all participants for their exceptional performances. They encouraged the students to continue participating in such competitions as a means to enhance their skills and showcase their talents on a broader platform.

The event not only celebrated the spirit of Basant but also served as a reminder of the importance of art, culture, and expression in education. It provided a platform for students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and foster a sense of community within the school.
